Entity Description

An entity that displays a image and text at it's location. Ideal for indicate the objectives/locations of a map.

Keyvalues

  • targetname <target_source>

Defines the name that other entities refer to this entity by.

  • Parent <string>

The name of this entity's parent in the movement hierarchy. Entities with parents move with their parent.

  • Image <string>

Image that will display on the HUD. Note: The size of the waypoint in game will be always 64x64, no matter how is the original image.

  • Text <string>

Text that will show under the icon on the HUD. Should be kept very short.

Inputs

  • Kill

Removes this entity from the world.

  • KillHierarchy

Removes this entity and all its children from the world.

  • AddOutput <string>

Evaluates a keyvalue/output on this entity. It can be potentially very dangerous, use with care.

Format: <key> <value>

Format: <output name> <targetname>:<inputname>:<parameter>:<delay>:<max times to fire (-1 == infinite)>

  • FireUser1-4

Causes this entity's OnUser1-4 outputs to be fired. See User Inputs and Outputs.

  • Enable

Enables this entity.

Disables this entity.
